Plymouth Home Football Shirt

Plymouth have made serious inroads in the Championship over the last couple of seasons but are their shirts worthy of their elevated status?

World Football Shirts Review: The Plymouth home shirts are green. Erm, I don’t really know what else I can say. It’s probably one of the most boring shirts I’ve ever seen in my life. The
only decoration are the badges but they’re not exactly an original design point. The shirt sports a nice green round neck collar, which really sets off the green body. In case you’re not picking it up, I’m being sarcastic. I think Plymouth fans have the right to be a little disappointed by the imagination of their manufacturers as there is nothing vaguely exciting or even distinctive about this shirt, aside from its horrid blandness.

The away shirt at least sports some design but does look like a giant jar of mustard. Perhaps it has something to do with the food manufacturers who sponser the shirts but it certainly isn’t pretty. Sorry Plymouth fans, but you haven’t won me over (on your shirts at
least).

Comparison Rating: Last seasons design was a little plastic but at least it had some flair and showed a little invention. Depending on your view, it might be considered that it’s even worse to bring out a horribly bland shirt than release a completely whacky design. Whatever spin you put on it, this shirt makes you think, ‘what’s the point?’.

Shirt Information: Puma are manufacturing the shirts and both are new for the 07/08 season so you can expect them to be around for a while…unfortunately.
