Burnley Football Shirts

Burnley Football Shirt

Like the club themselves, Burnley football shirts have a long tradition and the claret and blue of the Turfmoor outfit are known well outside of the Championship.

World Football Shirts Review: OK, I’ll start with what we like. I’m a fan of such an old club having a kind of retro image reflected in their shirts and at least they’ve stepped out of the normal boring boundaries. Unfortunately, I’m not that taken with the massive blue v-neck collar and the club badge is massive. From a personal perspective, the club I support have had this kind of design and I didn’t really like it all that much and found it uncomfortable.

The away version of the shirt works better and there are some nice touches. I’m still not going to be sold on the collar but it’s a much nicer package.

Shirt Information: The club’s shirts are manufactured by Errea, who I’ve never heard of and you can expect a change at the end of the 07/08 season.

Comparison rating: Even more traditional from Burnley with this effort and certainly a bold statement of the clubs rich history. As always, the home shirt shows your colours and if you’re brave enough to sport that V neck then you’re certainly a dedicated supporter.

Have I been to harsh Burnley fans? Let me know and I’ll happily alter the review if I consider your points to be valid.
